Accessibility Statement

VADE Platform is committed to making its products — including the VerifiedPros directory — usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to trustworthy local businesses, and to the tools we build, should not depend on how you browse the web.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognized international standard for digital accessibility. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: we continually review our sites and applications and work to improve them, and we treat conformance as something we are actively working toward rather than a one-time box to check.

This statement describes our ongoing, good-faith efforts. While we work continually to improve accessibility, we do not guarantee or warrant that every page, feature, or piece of content is fully conformant at all times, and this statement is not a representation that our sites are free of every possible accessibility barrier.

What we work toward

Across our public sites we aim to provide:

  • content that works with a keyboard and with screen readers,
  • sufficient color contrast and resizable, readable text,
  • text alternatives for meaningful images,
  • clearly labeled forms, links, and buttons, and
  • a consistent, predictable layout and navigation.

Third-party and directory content

Parts of our sites include content provided by third parties or by the businesses listed in our directory, and some features rely on services we do not operate (for example, payment processing and mapping). We do not control, and cannot guarantee, the accessibility of content or services that we do not provide ourselves. If you encounter a barrier in that kind of content, please reach out and we will help you get the information or complete what you need through an accessible alternative.

Feedback and requesting assistance

We welcome your feedback — it's one of the most important ways we find and fix problems. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our sites, or if you need information or a service in a different format, please contact us and we will work to provide what you need:

When you reach out, it helps to include the page or web address where you ran into the problem, a short description of the issue, and how you'd like us to follow up. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is never "finished." We address issues as we identify them and as they are reported to us, and we factor accessibility into new features as we build them.
