In his twilight years — after more than three decades as founder and CEO of a computer software company, and more than two decades owning and operating a construction company — Roger Franklin has amassed deep knowledge of both technology and business operations. His grandson, Spencer Hewitt, a recent business administration graduate, brings a fresh, well-trained mind and considerable energy to a profession he is just beginning. Watching the social impact of AI on knowledge-based work, the two joined to launch VADE Platform.

The VADE Platform mission is to freely and openly connect people seeking professional services with the people who provide them, while making a meaningful social contribution to those displaced by AI’s reshaping of knowledge-based professions. The first product is VerifiedPros — a business directory where consumers find and openly communicate with verified professionals, and where service providers reach prospects without paying for leads or being frustrated by questionable ones. Subscriptions for preferential placement are available, but the directory itself is free on both sides.

VerifiedPros will be followed by specialized business operating systems designed to improve professional productivity, simplify operations, and reduce automation costs.
